EuroPostcode privacy

The public postcode directory and map can be used without creating an account. This notice explains the limited information processed when you use the service or contact us.

Map and website usage

Technical request data such as IP address, browser information, requested URL and timestamps may be recorded in server logs for security, reliability and abuse prevention. Anonymous or aggregated analytics may be used to understand which pages and features are useful.

API and business enquiries

When you request API access, a data licence or support, EuroPostcode processes the contact and company details you submit in order to respond, prepare a quotation and manage the requested service. Do not submit confidential address lists through the enquiry form.

Retention and sharing

Information is kept only as long as reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected, security obligations and applicable record-keeping requirements. It is not sold as a marketing list. Service providers may process limited data where needed to host, secure or operate EuroPostcode.

Your choices

You may ask about personal information submitted through the service, or request correction or deletion where applicable, through the EuroPostcode contact form.
