How to use the United Kingdom postcode map
The directory groups 27,450 postcode-locality records into 124 broad GB prefix zones. Freight planners can use these prefixes to identify collection and delivery regions, compare locations and communicate a general service area.
Select a zone for its reference locality and map position. A prefix is useful for early planning, but the complete postcode and delivery address should always be confirmed before dispatch.
